Cicero calls in ex-Metro Bank man for top corporate post

Peter Murray has left rival agency Hume Brophy after less than a year.

Cicero Group has appointed former Metro Bank director Peter Murray as its first director of corporate affairs.

Murray makes the move after joining rival lobbying agency Hume Brophy earlier this year.

He has now quit his position as corporate affairs director at Hume Brophy with just eight months under his belt.

Before that he spent two years as head of communications for Metro Bank, including when when it listed on the London Stock Exchange. He is also a former head of government affairs for engineering giant Arup.

Jeremy Swan, CEO of Cicero Group, said: "A respected industry heavyweight, Peter brings valuable in-house and agency experience to our growing team. His appointment will ensure we continue to deliver creative campaigns that are seamlessly coordinated and powerful executed."
