Brexit and hypnosis on the menu as top lobbyists feast with the PRCA

The Haymarket Hotel was the venue for the inaugural PRCA Public Affairs Board leader lunch.

What do senior public affairs operators talk about when they get together over the dining table?

The inaugural PRCA Public Affairs Board leader lunch took place this week at the Haymarket Hotel in Piccadilly, central London. And Mr Stakeholder understands that hypnotism was a hot topic of conversation after one of those present confessed to having just been hypnotised in the name of improving their performance at work.

Present and correct for the get together George McGregor of Interel Consulting; Robin Grainger of GK Strategy; Alexandra Bigland of APCO UK; Tom Frackowiak of Cicero Group; Dan Simpson of Connect; George of Trefgarne of Boscobel and Partners; Nick Faith of WPI Consulting; Paul Stephenson of Hanbury Strategy; and Francis Ingham and Nicholas Dunn-McAfee from the PRCA. In the chair was PAN’s very own David Singleton.

“The leader lunch was our first instalment in making good our promise to create senior level networking opportunities for the lobbying industry," says Ingham. "And what did we discuss? Trump; Brexit; Corbyn; May's successor. Oh yes - and hypnotism. All the regular lobbying topics!”

The lunch took place in a private room next the hotel swimming pool. Mr Stakeholder cannot confirm or deny reports that the soundtrack was provided by The Notorious B.I.G.
